-50,000 Update: 48.2 Seconds Down, 47,835.30 To Go!
Some of our best swimmers competed this past weekend at the King Marlin Pro-Am Classic in Lewisville. Overall, we had a very good meet, with swimmers inching closer to their TAGS, Sectional, and Junior National qualifying time standards.
Below are some highlights of our swimmers who competed:
Payton Alberts - After a nearly 2 year hiatus, Payton swam best times in both her 100 breast (1:08.61) and 200 breast (2:33.43).
Wyatt Blair - Swam a best time in the 100 free (49.49) and achieved AAA time standards in the 100 fly (51.61) and 200 IM (1:58.70) for 15-16 boys (as a 15-year-old).
Hunter Boniface - Achieved AAA times in the 200 free (1:46.70) and 100 back (52.68). Achieved the Futures time standard in the 100 fly (50.73) and nearly achieved the Winter Junior Nationals time standard in the 200 fly (1:53.73).
Avery Buchanan - Qualified for finals in the 50 back (28.62) and swam near her personal best in the 100 back (1:02.59).
Jaxon Coates - Swam a personal best time in the 100 fly (58.37). Additionally, at the TISCA high school champs, he dropped nearly 7 seconds in his 200 IM.
Matt Harman - Swam personal best times in the 100 breast (1:07.35) and 100 free (51.85).
Samara Harman - Swam personal best times in the 200 free (2:00.97) and 100 fly (1:04.01). Additionally, Sam dropped over 14 seconds in her 500 free, coming within 4 seconds of the 13-14 girls TAGS qualifying time.
