American Long Course and TAGS Results -50,000 Update: 78 Seconds Down, 43,858.42 To Go
Here are the accomplishments from the last two meets of the season, Texas Age Group Championship in Austin and American Long Course Championships in Lewisville.
We had 8 swimmers compete at American Long Course Championships and they dropped a total of 70 seconds. At the Texas Age Group Meet in Austin a total of 8 seconds were dropped.
American Long Course - FULL RESULTS
Payton Alberts - Dropping time in her 100 breast (1:17.21), 50 free (28.97), 100 free (1:03.38), and 200 IM (2:45.80).
Wyatt Blair - Earning his Junior Nationals qualifying times in the 100 fly (57.68) and 200 IM (2:09.89).
Hunter Boniface - Dropping time in every event swum, dropping additional time on his current Junior Nationals times (100 fly - 56.72, 200 fly - 2:05.51, 100 back - 1:01.25), and continuing to work towards his Olympic Trials cuts.
Avery Buchanan - Improving immensely in her freestyle and butterfly events (50 free - 29.86, 100 free - 1:05.12, 100 fly - 1:15.13).
Reese Nelson - Dropping big time in his 200 fly (2:21.53 - 9 seconds) and 400 free (4:37.34 - 10 seconds) while swimming in his first major meet.
Donald Palmer - For an unbelievable comeback to drop 4.5 seconds in his 200 fly (2:24.02) after being unfairly disqualified.
Jarrah Schlosberg - Dropping time in her 100 breast (1:20.42 - 2 seconds) and 100 free (1:04.57 - 1 second) in her first major meet back after not swimming for 3 years.
Rachel Stinchcomb - Swimming a fantastic 50 fly (31.04).
