Sigma Featured Swimmer Of The Week
Lily Procell is an 8-year-old swimmer at Sigma Swim’s Fort Worth East (TWU) location under Coaches Jeff and JoJo. She attends St. Jospeh Catholic School in Arlington.
Q: How and when did you decide that you wanted to be a swimmer?
A: This past summer, because I couldn’t swim.
Q: Are there any swimmers that inspire you the most and why?
A: Coach Jo Jo because she’s really nice and was my first coach.
Q: How do you manage school and every day practice?
A: I only did twice a week. I studied extra hard on the days I wasn’t swimming.
Q: What is your favorite stroke and why?
A: Back stroke because it’s really easy and fun.
Q: How do you feel when your friends have plans to socialize and you have practice or a meet?
A: Kind of left out, still kind of happy to go to the lessons.
Q: Who pushes you to perform your best?
A: Coach JoJo in swimming.
Q: Do you have any other sports that you are involved in?
Q: What do you eat before and during swim meets?
A: A snack, but I just do lessons twice a week.
Q: What are your goals for the future in swimming?
A: Be on the swim team.
