What is a FLUTTER KICK in swimming?

Fact of the week: The flutter kick is used in two major swimming strokes: Freestyle and Backstroke. Outside of swim strokes, it is often the kick of choice when snorkeling and is often used with a set of swim fins. The flutter kick is one of the most useful kicks in swimming.
