Fact of the week: Backstroke can be challenging to learn, it's the only stroke where you can't see where you're going and it requires good coordination and timing. Some quick tips: Head still, mouth always above water, upper arm brushes ear, pinky enter waters first, kick from the hip, legs stay near surface.

How does my child move up? Come to every swim class, bring your progress report, earn those stickers, and ask your child's instructor or location's deck manager if you have questions.

Have a wonderful Wednesday and week. We're glad you're with us on your swim and water journey!
